GAME OF THE DAY: BOLT ACTION
This week the club will be playing Bolt Action: Scenario 2: Meeting Engagement (BA p.135) at 750 Requisition Points.
OBJECTIVE: “The objective is simple – both sides must attempt to destroy the other whilst preserving their own forces.”
- Observers and Snipers: Both sides are permitted use of the special deployment rules for observers and spotters as per the Setting up Observers and Snipers rules (BA p.131)
- Reserves: Both sides are permitted the use of reserves as per the Reserves rules (BA p.132).
- Deployment: No units may be placed on the board at the start of the game with the exception of observers and snipers.
- 1st Wave: Any unit not placed into a reserve will be assigned to your 1st Wave. At the start of the game, 1st Wave units must must be activated with either a Run or Advance order. They must then move onto the table from anywhere along your own table edge.
- Game Duration: At the end of Turn 6, A die shall be rolled, On a 1, 2 or 3 the battle has ended, on a roll of 4, 5 or 6 the battle will continue with one final turn.
- Victory: At the end of the game, both sides determine the number of Victory Points they have achieved. If one sides scores at least 2 more victory points than the other, It has achieved a clear victory. Otherwise the result is a Draw. You receive 1 Victory Point for each enemy unit you have destroyed.
